This client in southwestern Missouri is looking for an Internal Medicine-Hospitalist
You must be board certified or board eligible internist working tow! ards board certification.
7 on 7 off schedule
The salary is $220,000 base with many earning in the $250,000 range.
The current program has 4 physicians and 2 midlevel providers working in two teams of two physicians and one midlevel for the seven day period.
The volume ranges as in many programs.
On average the day provider would be covering around18- 20 patients each, with the night person handling night admits and calls from the floors.
They are located both in southern Scott County and northern New Madrid County, in the state of Missouri. It is geographically situated just north of the "Missouri Bootheel" although many locals consider Sikeston a part of it. By way of Interstate 55, Interstate 57, and U.S. Route 60, Sikeston is close to the halfway point between St. Louis, Missouri and Memphis, Tennessee. Nashville is just a 3 hour drive.
