Internal Medicine Opportunity
Well respected Internal Medicine group seeks a third board certified or board eligible Internist. Southampton Healthcare is a private practice with close ties to the Washington University School of Medicine. The successful candidate for this position would also have an academic appointment to the medical school, and staff privileges at the Barnes! Jewish Teaching Hospital.
In addition to caring for a div! erse array of patients, and teaching, our physicians’ are involved in Clinical research. We currently have 15 phase II and phase III clinical trials in progress. Southampton employs a full-time research coordinator to assist in these trials.
The Practice has an on-site Pharmacy for the convenience of our patients, and the medical staff. Two clinical Pharmacists are available to assist in patient care. Dexa scanning, x-ray and laboratory services are also onsite. The Practice has had an EMR system for 2 year.
This position offers competitive salary and benefits. There is a profit sharing plan and year end bonuses. Sign on bonus and moving expenses also offered. Full partnership is available after 2 years.
Southampton Healthcare is located in the Southampton neighborhood, on the city’s near Southside. It is convenient to major highways and just south of Forest Park. The office is a 5 minute car or 10 minute bicycle commute to the Washington University Medical ! Center.
