We are a brand founded on a love and passion for animals. Herbsmith Inc. specializes in creating Chinese herbal food supplements for dogs, cats, and horses, and in freeze dried whole foods for dogs and cats.

We're currently searching for a customer service representative who can provide expertise regarding pet nutrition. This person would be a bright, animal-loving individual who settles for nothing less than outstanding customer service. (It's not too difficult when photos of happy four-leggers are your reward.) We are looking for someone who can commit to at least 30 hours per week or more and someone who is knowledgeable about diets for dogs and cats.
You'll be productive, able to work alone or in a group, and have good time-management skills. Computer proficiency is required, and a willingness to learn is a must!
While a big part of this position is answering pet parents' questions, you'll also wear so many other hats. Part of this role involves gawking at pet photos, building friendships, and posting comments about #petparentgoals. It's a position unlike any other!

Responsibilities
- Answer phones and respond to emails daily
- Respond to comments and customer queries promptly
- Interact and connect with influencers, pet parents, and customers to cultivate an online community built around pets, positivity, and health
- Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews and provide solutions to resolve issues or complaints
- Build relationships with pet influencers and nurture our brand ambassador relationships
- Assist in nurturing wholesale and sales relationships
- Ensure brand consistency and messaging in all outbound communications
- Coordinate with multiple teams to optimize our content and ensure customer happiness

Qualifications: This is an entry-level position. We're hoping to find someone who can work between 30-40 hours for us, and there is potential for growth in our company. Love for/familiarity with animals and/or the pet industry is a HUGE plus.
